Intake
The intake on the SW11 is fairly basic, but it's nice and short and unrestrictive. The intake is made up of:
- Stock SW20 rubber pipe that reduces from 3" to 2.75", with idle air hose fitting
- Stock SW20 AFM
- Cheap pod filter and AFM adapter
I made a bracket which attaches to two of the studs in the AFM (that the adapter also attaches to), which extends to
the top of the engine bay and is bolted to the little sill in front of the lid seal. I intend to make a cold air box
in the future, which will most likely be fed cold air from a custom intake scoop similar to this one (but on the other side, obviously), or it
may be scooped from under the car, although I'm less keen on that idea due to the dust and water that would often also
be scooped up.
